Hosta Maple Leaf is an interesting sport of Hosta Sieboldiana Frances Williams. The way the margin variegation pattern gives the center of the leaf a maple leaf appearance.
This large Hosta plant measures at 24 inches high by 45 inches wide. The size of the leaves is 14 inches long by 12 inches wide.
The lightly corrugated leaves of this plant are green with a chartreuse margin. The leaves have slight visible veining. This plant is reminiscent of Frances Williams but the margin on the leaf is more narrow and the contrasting colors are more prominent and attractive.
The white flowers bloom in June.
