Hosta Golden Sunburst

Hosta Golden Sunburst is a Giant sport of Hosta Sieboldiana Frances Williams. This plant forms a clump that is 35 inches tall by 50 inches wide. The leaves are 13 inches long by 10 inches wide.


The leaves of Golden Sunburst begin the season a chartreuse color which changes to a golden green as the season progresses. The leaves are heart shaped and have moderate corrugation.

The white bell shaped flowers are held 24 inches above the plant. Hosta Golden Sunburst should be planted in the shade as it is prone to burning leaves.
