Hosta Time Tunnel

Hosta Time Tunnel is a medium sized sport of Hosta Sieboldiana Frances Williams. This plant forms a mound 36 inches in diameter. The leaves are 8 inches long by 6 inches wide.

The ovate leaves are green with golden margins. The variegation of this plant is almost in 3 equal proportions. It appears to have a bolt of green as the accent rather than the margins. This plant is not corrugated but is nicely veined. The leaves are slightly shiny and slightly rippled.

The tubular flowers have a short 2 week bloom time in June. The seeds are not viable and the plant is under patent until 2024.

Other Hosta Varieties:

Hosta Super Nova is is large hosta plant with gold leaves with blue/green accents.
Hosta Golden Sunburst is a giant Hosta plant. This plant has chartreuse leaves which turn golden green in the summer.
Hosta Maple Leaf is very similar to Frances Williams.
